Organizational, Founding & Space Coast History Projects
Institutions remember milestones. People remember what it felt like to build them. We gather both before the firsthand stories disappear.
Founding and anniversary histories
For businesses, nonprofits, clubs, churches, and community organizations, we can document how the organization began, the people who carried it through difficult years, and the traditions newer members may not know.
Projects can become a printed anniversary book, a series of web profiles, a short exhibit, an audio collection, or a private archive for future leaders.
NASA, aerospace, and Space Coast workforce stories
The Space Coast was built by far more people than the names in the history books. We create oral-history and legacy projects for current and retired NASA, Kennedy Space Center, contractor, engineering, launch, support, and aerospace employees.
Options include:
- individual retiree or career legacy books;
- team and program oral histories;
- founding-member and anniversary projects;
- memorial profiles honoring an employee or colleague who has died;
- recorded interviews, edited transcripts, photographs, and archival materials;
- public-facing stories or private family and organizational editions.
These projects can be commissioned by a family, employee group, alumni network, contractor, nonprofit, or organization. Read our questions for NASA and Kennedy Space Center workers to see the kind of memories we help uncover.
Programs for Rotary clubs and community groups
We offer warm, practical talks and guided classes for Rotary, Kiwanis, veterans organizations, libraries, historical groups, churches, professional associations, and other civic groups.
Popular topics include:
- The Story Only You Can Tell: how to begin preserving a life story;
- Ask Better Questions: interview techniques that draw out real memories;
- Recipe, Object, and Photograph Stories: using familiar items as memory prompts;
- Legacy Letter Day: a guided session for writing one meaningful letter;
- Preserving Space Coast Work Stories: a program for aerospace and local-history groups.
Standard organizational workshops begin at $275, with custom talks, multi-session projects, and sponsorship arrangements quoted separately. See all storytelling workshop options.
A project shaped around your archive
There is no single format that fits every organization. A first conversation can identify what is at risk of being lost, who should be interviewed first, what the final audience needs, and whether the right outcome is a book, a collection of profiles, audio, video, or a combination.
